夜深前殿按歌聲。
紅顏未老恩先斷，
斜倚薰籠坐到明。

Her kerchief soak'd with tears, she cannot fall asleep,
When songs and beats of drums waft though the night is deep.
Her rosy face outlasts the favor of the king,
She leans ob her perfumed bed till morning birds sing.
